Traditional & Contemporary Burials or Memorials in Tustin & Orange County
Saddleback Chapel offers a nearly endless array of burial options to create an end-of-life celebration that is personal and memorable. The unique customs and religious rites of your family honor the memory of your loved one, while serving to enhance the experience for those in attendance.
Choices in Burial Services
From an elaborate traditional ceremony to a simple graveside ceremony, we assist you in every detail and support you every step of the way. Basic burial services include the following:
Traditional service—A traditional funeral service includes a viewing or visitation; a formal funeral service at the funeral home, local church, or location of your choice; and the necessary transportation, such as a hearse, to carry the body to the funeral site and cemetery. Special rites that are important to your family’s beliefs, such as preparation of the body or the use of incense, are always encouraged.
Graveside service—A graveside service is held at the burial site. This service may be limited to the immediate family or open to all. Special rituals, such as releasing of doves or scooping dirt onto the casket, serve to comfort loved ones attending the graveside service.
Memorial service—A memorial service is conducted without the body present and can vary in ceremony and procedures. It can be held at the funeral home or at a location of your choice. A memorial service that is as unique as your loved one includes personal touches such as music, memorabilia, photographs, and other items that reflect a special life.
